Whenever groups of people congregate—as different as they may be in coming to the groups—their lives mirror varying degrees of Shakespeare’s themes:  

Shakespeare’s work reflects the perpetual elements of human nature that have caused his works to be relevant over so many generations. There are certain themes that transcend time, and which are relied upon, valued, and cherished in relationships around the world and through the years.

Shakespeare Lives on Cape Code (And Everywhere Else!) was inspired by a group of friends on Cape Cod. As with the characters in many of Shakespeare’s plays, individuals today must navigate the inevitable ups and downs that appear when the various themes merge.

This is a commentary on what creates such a group on Cape Cod—and everywhere else. Though these stories represent Shakespeare on Cape Cod, the themes featured are alive within the personal dramas and comedies playing out around the world. The themes are the same—time, place, and names are the differences. Thus, Shakespeare Lives on Cape Cod (And Everywhere Else!)
